About Big Time Trivia
What this site is
Big Time Trivia publishes personality and character quizzes, and articles about the ideas behind them. Despite the name, it isn't a trivia site: no question has a right or wrong answer. You answer questions about how you tend to think and act, and the quiz shows which result your answers point to and how the count came out.
The quizzes are for fun and reflection. They aren't psychological tests, they don't diagnose anything, and a result is something to think about, not a ruling on who you are.
Before this site, the bigtimetrivia.com address was used by an unrelated trivia site.
Who makes it
Big Time Trivia is made by a small independent team. It isn't affiliated with or endorsed by the people or companies behind the frameworks, books and shows its quizzes draw on.
How quizzes are written
Many questions describe a situation and ask what you would do, feel or want; others ask how you see yourself or what matters to you. Each answer option counts toward one outcome, and that link is set in the quiz data. Where an option sits on the screen makes no difference: the options appear in a new random order each time the page loads.
How quizzes are scored
Scoring is counting, done by code in your browser when you ask for your result. Each answer counts once toward its outcome, and the result shows the full count, so you can see how close it was. If results tie, the quiz names all of them rather than picking one. How we build quizzes has the details.
How quizzes are checked
Questions are written and checked with the help of AI tools: whether each one reads clearly, whether each option fits the outcome it counts toward, and whether any factual detail matches the sources the quiz page links. For a quiz based on a show or a book, character details are checked against the episode and book sources the quiz lists. Checks like these can miss things, so corrections are welcome.
How AI is used
Questions, answer options, result descriptions and articles are written with the help of AI tools, and their factual claims are checked against the sources they link, also with the help of AI tools. A claim that can't be traced to a source is cut. If something still slips through, please tell us; corrections are welcome.
AI plays no part in working out your result. Scoring is a fixed counting rule in the page's code, the same for everyone.
Corrections
If you find a factual error, a source that doesn't say what the page says it does, a broken link, or an answer that seems to count toward the wrong result, email hello@bigtimetrivia.com. When a report shows something is wrong, it gets fixed and the page's updated date changes, and when a fix changes the meaning of what the page said, a note at the end of the page says what was corrected and when.

Correction, October 10, 2026: an earlier version of this page said every question is checked, every draft is edited and every factual claim is checked against a source before it is published, and that every report is checked against the source, without saying how. The checking is done with the help of AI tools, against the sources each page links, and the page now says so. Checks like these can miss things, so corrections are welcome.
